Living in Switzerland for a couple of months now, a post about chocolate becomes inevitable.
You already know about my chocolate love (here https://latabledemirabelle.wordpress.com/2013/09/27/pierre-herme/ and here https://latabledemirabelle.wordpress.com/2013/12/14/chocolat-bonnat/)

Well, I have found yet another secret love: Tristan chocolatier in Bougy-Villars.
Tristan Carbonatto is producing his creations in a tiny and picturesque village near Rolle, about 30km from Lausanne. The chocolates are truly artisanal and you really can feel the passion that went into them. The ingredients are well-chosen (e.g. almonds from California, pistachios from Sicily) and of top quality and freshness. Tristan produces pralines/truffles, chocolate bars, feuillantines, nut products and other delicacies. You won’t find any crazy flavour combinations, rather solid classics that stand out by their absolute pureness. The more adventurous chocolates include matcha white chocolate cubes or redcurrant truffles.
You can order special creations for specific occasions and for the main holidays (Easter, Christmas etc.) Tristan designs beautiful chocolate arrangements.
Well, there’s not much more that needs to be said, just give it a go for yourself, you certainly won’t regret it.
The shop is open Wednesday to Friday from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 13.30 to 18.30 and on Saturday from 09.00 to 16.30.
